Is your lawn starting to win the battle? 😅🌱

South Louisiana grass grows fast this time of year. That’s why weekly cuts are recommended during the growing season.

Following the 1/3 rule means never cutting off more than one-third of the grass blade at once. Letting it get too tall and then cutting it short can stress the lawn, cause browning, and even lead to grass dying off.

When healthy grass thins out, weeds and undesirable grass can take over — making the problem even worse.

Don’t let the grass win this week. 💪

Apparently, the guys misunderstood “stay ahead of the rain.” 😂

At this point, we’re not sure if we’re mowing lawns or building the backup plan for the next flood. 🥲
