The very disease that has decimated millions of American elms in the U.S. is now being used to bring the iconic trees back. A group of 6,000 young American elms in Vermont were injected with Dutch elm disease spores to test their resistance to the disease.

For the last two days we took on a massive tree for the City of Pendergrass. This tree was so big our knuckle boom crane would only lift about a 4ft section of it at a time

Got a call from the City of Pendergrass with a very nasty dead 100 year old Red Oak tree that even a 71ft bucket truck wouldn't come close to the top of. They wanted someone who had the right equipment, who was insured, who had the exact know how with decades of experience in order to get this tree down quickly and safely due to a house, roadway and power lines all around it. We deeply thank the City of Pendergrass for calling and trusting us in order to get this accomplished for them.

A 100 year old Red Oak took a direct hit on Saturday over in Winder. I hate to say it, but we will be removing the tree in November.
