Hopefully, your basement survived another late-season storm this week. If you heard any strange sounds coming from your sump pit or lost power over the weekend, be sure to give your pump a quick check before the next storm. Freeze Guard???? It was just 80 degrees!

Now is the time! If you have an above ground discharge for your sump pump, now is the time to replace/repair the issue. Above ground discharge pipes are not only unsightly, and annoying (mowing, w**d whacking around them, tripping hazard) but they risk the chance of freezing.

With a proper freeze guard installed and your discharge pipe underground (below frostline) we can take the worry out of your next winter, make the grass easier to mow and keep anyone from tripping and breaking your discharge line. Additionally, a frozen discharge line will burn out your pump or worse, burst the connection inside causing the pump to spray water inside your basement.

While we're at it, we can route your rain gutters underground and keep the water away from your foundation.
