Got an order a few days ago for a Violin lamp....and it had been so long I had to look back and see how I had made the first ones. That did not help me but in looking I saw I have been making lamps for over ten years. So here the latest finished Violin lamp and like many times in life a mistake led to a great idea. I ordered a violin off ebay and like usual I did not pay attention and ordered a 1/8 size so I am now going to make her into a lamp. Perhaps you have heard of Minnie Me from Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me well here is Minnie "V". (Plus a few lamps over the decade)......Peace

My main outlet for selling lamps put in an order for 3 lamps. That is the Dirty Hippie (formerly Earthtones) in downtown Stuart. I only had 2 ready so here they are. The silver metal clarinet is amazing looking and I was going to keep it. It is touch lo/med/hi/off plus it cleaned up amazing.

Finally took my lamps to an Art Show....They truly are more fun to make than sell. On the up side I love them all. Here is my booth at Brennity Assisted living at Tradition. Had a blast and sold 2 lamps (but bought a painting with the proceeds).

Here are two lamp donors. A Trumpet and a Slingerland Single Valve Bugle made in the USA and used by The Marine Corps. I got it from the man who used it in the Corp. It is super old. He said he went in 1953 and used it the whole time he was in the Marines. I think it is even older than that. It's serial number is 476. It woke up and put to sleep a lot of Marines...LOL...Peace

My Current inventory of lamps. Finally have enough to do a show. Metal clarinet...Brass Coronet....Matched Red Flying V's...matched Black and White Strats....and a Mandotar (cross bwtween a guitar and a Mandolin).

Just finished another Stratocaster Guitar Lamp. I keep thinking I am done with making Musical Lamps but I also keep showing pictures of my lamps to people.....and I keep getting orders. This one was a special order...Brand new Guitar....I usually use old and reliced guitars but this is what he wanted. I included pics from the complete build...start to finish. The power cord goes in as the amp cord and the middle tone k**b turns it on and dims the bulb to any brightness.......Truly a pretty lamp.....Peace
