𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐮𝐦 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦

The Common Houseleek (Sempervivum tectorum) is a succulent evergreen 🌱perennial known for its rosette of pointed leaves that are often tipped with a reddish-purple color.

Succulents in general love sunshine ☀️ , and the Common Houseleek is no exception to this. Place yours in a bright, sunny spot 🌤in your home in order to keep it healthy and happy.

Also like with other succulents, these plants don't need much water at all. Their fleshy leaves 🍃 allow them to store water 💦 for prolonged periods of time, and so they are quite drought-resistant.

Common Houseleeks have been seen to protect households from witchcraft and to help bring good fortune 🔮 and prosperity. Whether or not you believe this is true, these plants make a great gift for a loved one as they are so easy to care for and look great too!🤭🪴

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 🌸

Caladiums are known for their big, heart-shaped leaves that display amazing color combinations of white, pink 💕, red and green. These are tropical plants that thrive in hot🌤, humid weather. Caladiums rarely flower, but the beautiful foliage guarantees a colorful show wherever they are planted beneath trees, between shrubs, in perennial borders and in containers.

Caladiums are excellent plants for shady yards and gardens, yet most varieties are surprisingly sun ☀️ tolerant.

Caladiums need warm soil and warm overnight temperatures in order to begin growing. If the tubers are planted into cold soil, they will not sprout and may rot.

𝐙𝐳 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐬 𝐳𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚) 🌿

Oh hey there👩🏻‍🌾 Today I’m talking about one of the hardiest of the hardy houseplants: the ZZ plants! 🌿

Native the eastern African, this tropical perennial has beautiful glossy leaves🍃 The base of each stem is thick and upright, thinning as you move up toward the tip. Each thick, shiny leaf grows directly from the stem🌿

They are really drought tolerant (i.e., you can forget to water them) because their rhizomes—which look a lot like small potatoes—can store water💦 As far as sunlight goes, it likes low, indirect sunlight 🌥

Honestly, they are so pretty and shiny that these plants often look fake! It’s also super easy to care for🤭

Oh hey there 👩🏻‍🌾 If you think it's time to add a little extra life and greenery 🌱to your space, consider getting a money tree plant. Not only are do they have a statement-making appearance, but they're actually pretty easy to care for.

Money trees, aka pachira aquatica, are considered a symbol of luck and prosperity✨The braided trunks are thought to "trap fortunes 🔮 within its folds”

money tree plants like a mix of direct and indirect sunlight🌤. As with most houseplants, too much direct sun ☀️can scorch the leaves🍂

The best way to keep a money tree plant happy🤫? Give it a good watering💦 every one to two weeks, allowing the soil to dry in between

The five leaves 🍀 seen on each stalk are thought to represent the five elements of Earth🌏 , water💧, fire🔥, wind 🌬, and metal 🪨. And if you just so happen to find a money tree plant featuring a stalk with seven leaves (a major rarity😯)it's considered to be even luckier✨

𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐡𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐦) 🕷🌱

Chlorophytum comosum, usually called spider plant or common spider plant due to its spider-like look, also known as spider ivy, ribbon plant and hen and chickens. Chlorophytum comosum is easy to grow as a houseplant because of its resilience, but it can be sensitive to the fluoride in tap water, which commonly gives it "burnt tips"🍂

Provide them with well-drained soil and bright, indirect light 🌤and they will flourish. Water 💦 them well but do not allow the plants to become too soggy, which can lead to root rot. In fact, spider plants prefer to dry out between waterings.

During the summer, spider plants may produce tiny white flowers on long stems, as well as baby spider plants (offsets) called “pups.” The pups look like tiny spiders, hence the plant’s name!

Personally, the vibrant variegation on thin leaves gives it elegant look to my decor 🪴
