My name is Dawn, and I'm a pretty typical wife and mother of 3. At least I was until 2014, when after my husband decided to settle down in Corpus Christi after he retired from the military, I was diagnosed with a rare type of dual leukemia. I was 33, in the prime of my life, and told I wasn't going to live for long unless I received a stem-cell transplant (bone marrow), I was unable to secure an i

ndividual donor, but I was fortunate to receive a cord blood transplant. The gift of Living donation has given me the gift of Life. I am LIVING HOPE, and I believe strongly in the power of faith, the power of hope, and the power of love.
