Well just like to point out that over the years builders and the town inspector don't realize that there is a 2 inch minimum overhang radius for deck post connecting brackets to your pairs alot of times you just see the post in the center of the pair and think it good well it's not the pair is most likely under sized for your deck post for a 6x6 post would would need a sq 12x12 pair or a 14in round pair in order to get the min radius for the brackets . Let do the job right and give the homeowner our best.
