April 1949 - "University of Tennessee's fine band caught the eye of Saturday's crowds in Johnson City yesterday when it paraded up Main Street shortly before noon. The band stopped here en route to Bristol to play for an intra-squad football game." The band is headed east coming across the Southern Railroad Tracks on to Fountain Square.
