Today we honor Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the resilience, freedom, and contributions of Black Americans.
Juneteenth reminds us that freedom and equality are worth fighting for, protecting, and expanding for everyone. As we celebrate, we also reflect on the work that remains to build communities where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and opportunity.
We recognize that the struggles for racial justice and LGBTQ+ equality are deeply connected. We celebrate Black voices, Black joy, and Black leadership today and every day.
Happy Juneteenth. โค๏ธ๐ค๐
