Somewhere between the coffee, the overthinking, and probably moving the same flower for the 47th time 😂, I realized something about myself.

I’m happiest when something I do makes someone else happy.

Maybe that’s why I’ll remake a bow three times or move one flower six different ways because something still doesn’t feel right.

It’s not really about the bow or the flower. I’m thinking about the person who’s going to receive it.

I want her to open that box and smile. Or give it to someone she loves and feel like she found just the right thing.

And I think that’s been the thread running through A Simple Kreation all along.

I don’t just love making things. I love making something that matters to somebody.

Apparently it just took a cup of coffee and 47 flower adjustments for me to figure that out. 😂☕

You’ve already tucked a few pumpkins around the room, but the middle of your table still feels bare, doesn’t it?

You want it to feel like Halloween, but your style is candy corn, warm candlelight, and a little whimsy—not anything dark or creepy.

I made this centerpiece for that exact spot, so every time you walk past, the room finally feels ready for the season.

Comment CANDY and I’ll send you straight to my Fall & Halloween collection. 🍬

Have you ever changed one small detail…and somehow ended up redoing the entire thing three times? 🙋‍♀️

I started by choosing between two widths of cream ribbon. Then I wondered whether the glitter was competing with the softer mauve and patterned ribbon—so, naturally, I made a third bow.

This is the part of handmade you don’t always see. I keep adjusting the little details until a piece feels finished—not simply done.

If you’re someone who notices the little things, you’ll understand why I couldn’t leave it alone.

Which bow belongs on this cross—1, 2 or 3?

If you woke up later than planned and immediately felt behind, you’re not.

I was awake earlier, closed my eyes for “a few more minutes,” and exhaustion won. Now the coffee is finally happening, and I’m starting Sunday from right here—without the guilt.

Did your morning get a slow start too? ☕

If you finally had permission to sleep past 6:00 and your eyes opened anyway, your internal alarm clock clearly didn’t get the Saturday memo. 😂

Before you turn that early start into another list of things to do, give yourself a few quiet minutes that belong only to you.

Are you going back to sleep—or accepting defeat and making coffee? ☕

When something carries this much meaning, “pretty” isn’t enough.

As I work on this set of angel wings, I’m thinking about the woman who will see them for the first time. Maybe she chose them because she needs a visible reminder of someone she misses. Maybe someone who loves her chose them because flowers and words didn’t feel like enough.

That’s why I consider every detail so carefully. The colors, flowers and ribbon need to feel gentle, personal and worthy of the love being remembered—not simply look good together.

If you were choosing a memorial piece, which would make it feel most personal to you—the colors or the flowers?

There’s a moment after losing someone when you’re going about an ordinary day and something suddenly stops you.

Maybe it’s a song. Maybe it’s a familiar scent. Sometimes it’s something beautiful that quietly makes you feel close to them again.

That is the feeling behind these angel wings. 🤍

The soft white wings, calla lilies, tiny angels and touches of gold were chosen to make remembrance feel gentle—not heavy—and to give you something meaningful that still feels at home in your space.

It’s the kind of piece you hang on a wall and occasionally find yourself pausing in front of. Not always sad…just still for a moment.

Because sometimes something made for your home becomes more than decoration. It becomes a quiet place for love and memories to remain visible.

Do you have a special place in your home where you honor someone you miss? 🕊️

To the woman who has moved the same unfinished task from Monday’s list all the way to Friday: it can wait. 😊

You don’t have to tie every loose end into a neat little bow before you’re allowed to enjoy your weekend. Take care of what truly matters today, and give yourself permission to leave the rest for next week.

What are you officially taking off today’s list?

You already know whose photograph you would place in the center, don’t you?

Maybe blue was their favorite color. Maybe a cardinal makes you stop because it always brings them to mind. Those are the details that can make your angel wings feel like them—not simply another memorial decoration.

Your 8x10 canvas photograph will be placed inside before the wings are shipped, but it will always remain private.

If you can already picture the details you would choose, comment WINGS and I’ll send you the information.
