The updated, morning NWS blend continues to increase ice amounts across most of Louisiana. This continues to trend toward being a higher end winter storm down this way. Could it change? Of course. I'll post actual forecast amounts on Wednesday. If things continue to trend in the direction they have, it's possible my forecast amounts would be higher than this. This is a very reasonable starting point, and I use this to show you the most likely areas for significant impact, as well as the geographical scope of this event. This could cause major issues from Texas to Arkansas to Georgia, and all points in between.
