We absolutely love what we do!
Here’s a glimpse of a hand-cut public art mural we created in New York — a true representation of what we’re capable of at Images In Tile. This piece showcases the best of customization, combining a wide variety of mixed media.
It features custom-made colors, digitally printed images, hand-cut mosaics, water jet cuts, and all hand mesh-mounted for a seamless finish.

Another beautiful project in the books for Images in Tile. Sam Sturgis had this to say about this project. We are truly blessed to work with such talented people and Allison Bianco is no stranger to Images in Tile, USA. We have worked with her before and know that this won’t be the last project we do together. Her work is so unique and the detail and colors truly bring this piece alive. How lucky these children are to see such a great piece of art everyday that they attend school. Thank you Allison for reaching out to us to collaborate once again. Such a great peace.

The meaning behind the art:
Curious Tide is a public artwork by Allison Bianco at PS 958, Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Inspired by the ocean and beaches on New York City’s coastlines, the work features a tile mural of waves, creatures, plants, animals, food, and curiosities influenced by local iconography. A dramatic interaction between water and sky foreshadows a physical shift of the oceanscape beneath, with unexpected objects and color designed to provide moments of humor and wonder. The weathering and entanglement expressed in the mural is linked to remembrances of shared and changing places.

Check out another recent project for a school entrance and front desk. This mural is a custom hand cut tile mosaic mural using over 20 different colors porcelain tiles. The mural is over 270 sq ft of hand cut and hand laid mosaics that are glued to a mesh backing for easy installation.

It is a honor have been apart of this project. We were blessed with the opportunity to create and install this mural in the Jasper County courthouse to honor all of the law enforcement agency’s in the county and the officers who lost their lives in the line of duty!
