Do you love or hate Euphorbia? I love it and my husband hates it. Mine is about to bloom and I’m so excited. Some people think this plant stinks, I think it smells like puppy breath on steroids. Pretty weird but not horrible.

So tell me, would you plant Euphorbia close to your house?

I have new growth on my dahlias. I have been hesitant to chop them because I’m genuinely curious how long they will stay alive. Dahlias in the Willamette Valley usually die off in October and maybe November if we get lucky. I’ve never had dahlias alive at Christmas. So weird.

I found a picture of my mom’s faux flower garden in Newberry Springs, CA in 1992ish. There was a row on the opposite side but I don’t have a pic of that. There were pomegranate trees over there too. She loved plants and flowers but the heat and cost to pump water was always prohibitive to her getting to do that. So she improvised 🩵

We have the cutest little dwarf Alberta Spruce trees on the cart right now. These will grow into adorable little whimsical pine trees about 6-8 feet tall. They have sweet little removable red bows tied to the top for extra charm.

I have 8 dwarf Alberta Spruce trees in 1 gallon pots for sale for $10 each on the cart. These are from beautiful Blue Heron Farm and will make lovely additions to your landscape. You can plant them now, use them as mini holiday trees and decorate them (and then plant them) or give them as a gift. They grow up into the cutest mini pine tree ever 💚🌲🎄
