My recent trip to Asheville, NC, was nothing short of inspiring. Wherever I travel, I’m always on the lookout for memorable restaurants, beautiful spaces, and those special design details that make an experience unforgettable.

We stayed at The Radical Asheville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and from the moment we arrived, it was a feast for the senses. The colorful, dramatic interiors, wonderful staff, and incredible dining made our stay truly memorable.

One of the spaces that especially caught my eye was The Golden Hour, featured on Michelin’s dining list. The design is bold yet inviting, with clusters of heavy gold chains suspended above the bar, creating a striking focal point within the space.

I love when designers take an unexpected material or texture and transform it into something so visually impactful. It’s these creative details that can completely elevate a space, and The Golden Hour did just that. ✨

A day at Biltmore Estate ✨

My daughter and I had the opportunity to spend the day and evening at Biltmore, and I was truly in awe of the history and architecture we witnessed throughout the estate.

Built by George Vanderbilt and completed in 1895, Biltmore is an incredible 250-room home spanning 175,000 square feet. From the 65 fireplaces and original furnishings to the intricate architectural details and gardens designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, there was inspiration around every corner.

As an interior designer, I found myself especially captivated by the craftsmanship, scale, materials, and timeless details throughout the home. What an incredible experience to see so much history preserved so beautifully. 🤍

The destination photo is all shimmering water, sun-kissed palms, and that effortless natural opulence you can’t quite recreate. 🌴✨ The mood board, though — that’s intentional luxury. Carefully selected tones, layered textures, and a refined palette set the mood long before you ever arrive.

Together, they create the difference between simply being there and designing the feeling of being there: one is paradise found, the other is paradise thoughtfully crafted. 🌊☀️

Art isn’t just something you see — it’s something you feel. 🎨 In this project, we created a custom mural to shape the dining experience with movement, warmth, and storytelling. Every koi, every bloom, and every brushstroke was thoughtfully designed to guide the eye and bring a sense of softness to the space.

Alongside it, our partners at created a digital mural that carries that same spirit through their signature precision and depth. Their interpretation adds a refined, architectural quality that beautifully complements our hand-designed piece.

Together, the two murals create a layered visual dialogue — one rooted in bespoke artistry, the other in digital craftsmanship. The result is a space that feels immersive, intentional, and full of life from the moment guests arrive. ✨

This is what thoughtful collaboration can do: transform a restaurant into an experience all its own.

There’s something special about summer in Florida, the way the light filters through the landscape, the vibrant colors come alive, and the outdoor spaces invite you to slow down, gather, and stay for a while. 🌺

The outdoor landscaping at Canonita was designed to embrace that feeling, creating a lush, welcoming setting that celebrates the beauty of the natural surroundings. Every texture, painting, and detail was thoughtfully selected to enhance the experience from the moment you arrive.

I recently attended the Dolce & Gabbana From the Heart to the Hands exhibition in Miami's Design District with a wonderful group of my ladies. It was an immersive celebration of Italian artistry, craftsmanship, and culture, showcasing more than 300 extraordinary couture garments, accessories, and jewelry pieces. Moving through a series of theatrical, museum-quality rooms, visitors experience a visual feast of fashion, architecture, opera, folklore, and handcraft traditions—revealing how creative inspiration is transformed into wearable art by master artisans.

From a design perspective, the exhibition feels less like a fashion show and more like a journey through a collection of meticulously curated stage sets, where every room evokes a different chapter of Italian heritage, layered with drama, texture, color, and impeccable detail. The result is both breathtaking and emotionally resonant—a tribute to the power of imagination, craftsmanship, and beauty!

The Breakers Palm Beach is one of America's most iconic oceanfront resorts, designed in the Italian Renaissance Revival style and inspired by Rome's Villa Medici, blending Mediterranean grandeur with Palm Beach elegance. Every once in a while, I try to visit this awe-inspiring hotel, so I grabbed a few photos to share. Approaching the hotel, you’ll find a palm-lined drive that culminates in a Florentine-inspired fountain and a dramatic façade distinguished by graceful arches, twin belvedere towers, and richly detailed architectural ornamentation. Inside, the entrance lobby unfolds as a breathtaking 200-foot-long ceremonial space with soaring arched ceilings, hand-painted Renaissance-style frescoes created by Italian artisans, monumental columns, and abundant natural light—evoking the experience of entering a grand Italian palace rather than a traditional hotel. The spaces within the interior never cease to disappoint!
