I’ll be helping keep things organized, schedules running smoothly, and messages answered, while Limerick specializes in morale support, keyboard supervision, and quality-control naps.

Mr. Tinker is looking for reliable handymen or handy ladies to help. Most of our work is on the windward side of Oahu, with occasional jobs elsewhere on the island.

We need experienced, dependable people for gig-based repair and maintenance work, including carpentry, drywall, painting, decks, gutters, and assorted home repairs.

This is independent contractor work. Jobs are offered as they come up, and you can accept or decline based on your schedule and skills. Once you accept, reliability matters: show up when you say you will, communicate clearly, and take pride in quality work.

Work requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, working on uneven surfaces, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, and using hand/power tools. Must be able to perform the essential physical functions safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Some accommodations may be available depending on the job.

Pay is $35/hour, paid weekly. Must have your own truck with current insurance and basic tools. Specialty tools can be provided on loan. Must be able to use our app, since scheduling and job details are all cloud-based.

Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS-allowed rate of 72.5 cents per mile. You will need to keep logs, either written or through a GPS mileage-tracking app.

Background check required after conditional offer, consistent with Hawaii law.

Some of you may know Troy because he grew up on the windward side and graduated from KHS. He is a hard working man who does quality work up to Mr. Tinker's highest standards, and we feel fortunate to have found him. You would be surprised how hard it is to find a quality handyman in Hawaii, and now we have three. Now with shorter wait times!
