It’s been a cold and crazy spring. Late frosts and wind storms bringing down trees. Never a dull moment gardening in Michigan.

Looking on the bright side, my seedling beds are bursting with some nice looking Hostas. Time to thin out the beds and get these into the garden.

Some random shots of streakers that caught my eye.

Craziest weather, mid 80s then all the way down to 27 in the evening. Managed to cover most everything. The garden is bursting with color and it is only April. Looks more like late May early June here already.

Seedlings wintered over in pots seem to have survived okay. One in particular shows promise for red - Artisan Voodoo Spell x (Lemon Snap x First Blush)

It’s not every day a bus pulls up in front your house and a large group of plant nerds visit your garden.

Quite a day, we hosted two garden clubs plus many members from our local club. Such nice folks.

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments and helpful information.

Had a rough start to the season with squirrels and rabbits eating all, and I mean just about all, of my seedlings.
With all the rain and warm weather things are surprisingly bouncing back.

A small sample of the seeds that have been harvested and drying. Hope to start cleaning and sorting this weekend.
