I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to all past and present clients who have placed their trust in me with their home projects. Your confidence in my expertise is truly valued. After much thought, I have made the decision to officially discontinue my operations in North Carolina at the middle of July. This decision was driven by my wife's and my desire to relocate back to Maryland to be closer to our family. Although we have greatly enjoyed our time in North Carolina, we have come to realize that being near family is essential to our happiness. We do still have a limited number of openings available for small projects. Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support. You have been more than just clients; I consider you valued friends.

Only the ceiling under the deck remains to be completed. This undertaking was quite challenging, but the end results are highly rewarding. The project scope included the deck renovation, two patio door replacements, one new patio door framing and installation, a 36-inch entry door installation, and basement framing for an apartment.

Started the day at 8:30 with Vann and made a game-time decision to swap out siding first — radar said 100% chance of rain within the hour. Sure enough, it hit. Only about 15 minutes, but it came down hard. We narrowly escaped equipment damage. Good call, Vann. 👊
As fast as it came, it cleared up. Blue sky like nothing happened.
From there, we cut out the wall and installed the 6’ sliding glass door we framed in the day before — header and all. Nothing better than seeing that opening come together clean and solid.
We wrapped up the day filling six deck footers the old-fashioned way — wheelbarrow, hoe-mixed concrete, and straight hustle. No shortcuts. Just work.
I’m all for working smart, not just hard… but there’s something to be said for putting in a full, honest day. If you’re not willing to bring that kind of effort to justify your worth, I just don’t get it.
Grateful for good help and productive days. Let’s go. 💪
