Most remodels change how a home looks… but the best remodels change how a home feels. 🥰

Our goal with this remodel was to create a space that invites the family to slow down, connect, and enjoy where they are, while honoring the homes unique architecture. And judging by this moment, I think it’s safe to say the new space is doing exactly that! 🍷

A bigger kitchen wasn't the answer.

A better kitchen was.

This Weatherby Lake whole home remodel proves that improving a space isn't always about adding square footage. Sometimes it's about removing barriers, improving flow, creating smarter storage, and making intentional design decisions that support everyday life.

By opening the breakfast nook to the adjacent living area, this kitchen became brighter, more functional, and more connected to the incredible lake views.

It’s been a little while since we shared our demo update on this Lake of the Ozarks whole home remodel—and a lot has changed since then!

Framing, rough-ins, and drywall are quietly shaping the foundation of a home designed for modern lake living. While it may not be the most visible stage, it’s where every detail behind the walls is carefully planned for how this home will be lived in every day.

Grandmillennial charm, unlocked! 🌸

This Prairie Village hall bath update by our handyman team proves that intentional details like bold wallpaper, warm gold finishes, and a custom vanity can completely elevate any bathroom space.

But what truly sets this space apart is the expert craftsmanship.

Even the vent cover and switch plates were wrapped in wallpaper so seamlessly you almost miss them… until you realize how much they elevate the whole space!

This kitchen was designed to bring people together. With more room to prep, cook, gather, and connect, the entire family can be part of the process without feeling crowded.

For Schloegel Designer, Lindsay Brungardt, this remodel was especially meaningful. This time, she wasn't just the designer—she was the client, too.

The result is a kitchen that's as functional as it is beautiful and designed around the way her family lives every day.
