Just a little Tuesday time-travel twist… 🎡🎨

Today I was working on my 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis program—thinking about all those grand buildings, bright lights, and big dreams—and somehow my art character and her trusty little sidekick slipped right into a cartoon version of it all.

Now instead of just telling the story… we’re walking through it—wide-eyed, paintbrush in hand, ready to capture a moment from over a century ago.

History has a funny way of doing that…
One minute you’re studying it…
The next minute, you’re stepping right into it.

Project Completed and Delivered
Thanks to her gracious teacher, I was able to step in and share a quick little mock stained-glass project with the kindergarteners. Sticky fingers, wide eyes, and proud smiles — the very best kind of art day.

This Grandmama’s heart is full and happy.
There’s something sacred about watching little hands create, knowing they’ll carry that joy forward in ways we may never fully see.

Now I’m taking a quiet coffee break before moving on to the next project — grateful for moments like these, where love, learning, and a splash of color all come together.
