I am retiring effective immediately, primarily because of wear and tear on my body, but also because I have planned well and can take advantage of the freedom of retirement.

Since starting my business in 2011 I have greatly enjoyed helping my customers solve problems and enhance their homes. The best part of this work has been meeting people and making new friends. Best wishes to everyone in the new year!

Customer wanted a 4ft tall privacy fence to match the porch we built a couple of years ago.

Cut an opening between the kitchen and the living room. Cased the opening and added a bar height butcher block counter. A new led ceiling fixture in the kitchen brightens up the space.

Finished replacing a tub with a walk-in shower. Flooring is new LVT, paint is new, toilet and cabinets are unchanged.

This is the Brookside condo before renovation showing the original slide-in range and matching Formica countertops. The range had pushbutton controls built into the wall. To accommodate a new range I had to remove the controls and install a 50A 240V outlet. This building was originally completed in 1962. I am told it was developed by the same company that developed Ruskin Heights.

A semi-remodeled condo kitchen in Brookside. Original 1961 aqua paint on Republic steel cabinets, new countertops, sink, and faucet, tile backsplash, added and upgraded outlets, lighting, LVT flooring, baseboard, and pass-thru. The original range was 27" wide. To accommodate a modern 30" range I removed a steel cabinet and fabricated a narrower wood cabinet, matching the color and using the pull from the old cabinet to mimic the '60s look.

Deck renovation project nearing completion. First two photos are before work began. Replaced decking, stairway, some framing, columns and footings. Added a wide guardrail cap to accommodate customer's bonsai display.

We completed a kitchen remodel yesterday. Painted existing steel cabinets, new tile floor and backsplash, new solid surface countertops, undermount sink, disposal, and faucet, upgraded lighting and outlets, and new paint.

Opened a wall, cased the opening, and installed a countertop. The customer plans to paint the trim himself.
