Today, as we gather with friends and loved ones, remember those who aren’t able to be home with theirs. As we celebrate the unofficial start to the summer, let us reflect on the sacrifices that were, are, and yet to be made to defend our democracy and freedom. It is a remembrance of the lives given so that others may go on! If you see this post, let it be a reminder of the fragility of our humanity, and that we can only strengthen each other through our humility. May this Memorial Day bring us understanding that we are only as strong as the one standing next to us.
