Wow!!! What crazy weather!!! I would like to thank all of our loyal customers for being so kind and patient. I'm just getting a moment to publicly update our situation at Whitlock’s this week. We were able to return to work on Friday the 19th. However, our internet was down which unfortunately, affects our phone service. After numerous Comcast technicians and maintenance workers were dispatched to our area, we had full phone service beginning Friday the 26th. Talk about frustrating. We have had complaints about us not returning phone calls and for that I sincerely apologize. We were having to manually retrieve voice messages from our work phone system and return calls on our personal cell phones. We have an office staff of 3 people. We received over 100 calls a day this week!!! We worked 10-14 hours a day trying to provide the best service we could under the circumstances! In addition, people that had exterior tankless water heaters were very frustrated when we told them parts to fix their heaters were on back order 1-2 weeks. That, we can do nothing about. This freeze did not just affect Shreveport and Bossier. It is Texas and Louisiana and other states as well. You would not think I would need to explain that to people but I must because somehow it is my company's fault. While we can not control what people say about us, it is very offensive when we know how hard we worked. We will not always be able to please everyone, but I sincerely hope we were able to help most of you during this time. We are working this weekend, to try to continue to help people with burst pipes get their water back on. To all of our new construction customers and builders a huge "Thank You" for allowing us time from your committed jobs to be able to help with the misfortune of others. And to all the "Karens" that demanded immediate attention...... bless your heart!!!! 😉
