Our first blooms are officially here! 🌸 It's amazing to see hellebores pushing through the snow, and the anemones joined them early this year. Fall planting and our low tunnels really paid off, plus a mild winter gave us a head start. We couldn't ask for a better beginning to our 3rd season as cut flower farmers!

Huge congratulations to Silver Valley Sourdough for the fantastic feature! It is so wonderful to see your hard work and vision getting the recognition it truly deserves.

We were honored to see you mention us as part of your journey. Thank you for the shout-out, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

Meet this week’s ’Handpicked’ local artisan: JoHannah Branstetter!

JoHannah’s passion for locally grown and produced food comes through in each sourdough loaf, focaccia, and sweet treat she bakes in the commercial kitchen of Wallace Elks Lodge #331.

For two years now, JoHannah has done her part to nurture a circular economy in the Silver Valley through her business, Silver Valley Sourdough. She also shares her wisdom (and sourdough starter) by hosting sourdough making classes.

Check out valley sourdough here on Facebook to learn how to place an order (fresh bread every Saturday!) 🍞

WOW! 🥳 Year two of growing flowers has been an absolute DREAM!

We've been busy bees, not only expanding our flower beds at the farm but also adding some amazing "firsts" to our blooms, including: Lisianthus, Celosia, Ammi, Canterbury Bells, Craspedia, and Eucalyptus! 🌱🌸

But the biggest highlight? Opening the Farm Stand! Seeing all of your returning faces and finding those sweet notes of appreciation truly fills our hearts. Thank you to everyone who visited us at the Thursday Market and stopped by the stand. Your support means the world.

And a special shout-out to the incredible people who got us started and keep cheering us on! We are so grateful for our community. 🙏

Bring on next season! We can't wait to see what we grow next!

We received an order today to make a bouquet as a gift to a wedding. This provided an opportunity to try something new, and we're always eager to contribute to such special occasions.

We are proud to say that everything in this bouquet is all grown here at the farm.

Our pleasure!

A huge thank you to this amazing local farm for donating the fresh, stunning flowers that brought so much beauty and color to this year’s FREE Community BBQ! 🌿✨

Tucked along the banks of Moon Creek in Kellogg, this farm is where the mountains meet the valley and the flowers tell stories. Using sustainable practices that support the earth and native pollinators 🐝, Moon Creek Farm grows blooms that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.
