Over the last few days we've had several dozen calls regarding frozen systems. Please be patient as we try and get as many people as we can back in water! In the meantime, make sure your system is insulated at the well head and heated at the pressure system.

Having a pressure tank in an insulated building is not enough in these low temperatures, in particular with as long as they're lasting. You really do need to heat the area.

Unfortunately once your system freezes, there's not much we can do to repair broken pipes or get you back in water until it's thawed out.

Sunday night is looking to be a cold one! Make sure your system is protected from freezing.

Well heads should be insulated and pump houses / garages should have heat in them to keep everything flowing!

If you’re seeing this post too late and your system has froze, apply heat towards the bottom of the pressure tank. The ni**le to the pressure switch is usually the first place to freeze.

Next week is showing some extremely low temperatures. Make sure your well head and well system is protected from freezing so you don't loose water in the cold! Your well head should be properly insulated and pump houses / garages need heaters, not just insulated buildings. If you have any questions about weather proofing your system please give us a call!
