After figuring out our elevation we were able to get some color on the building!
As of 2021 the new building codes say your 2x6 built home no longer gives you the proper R-value. Because of this builders are being forced to add 2 inch foam insulation boards on top of the sheathing to acquire the new R30 for zone 6 which is 3/4 of maine.
