Have you ever tried a shrub? This drinking vinegar can be made with such a variety of fruits and herbs. I just finished off the batch I made with cranberry, orange and ginger, mixing it with sparkling water and a splash of ginger ale or lemonade. This batch of blueberry basil shrub will be given as gifts to be made into fancy drinks or salad dressings. Any other creative ideas for vinegar infusions?

There it is folks. This is the entirety of my honey harvest this year...three years into beekeeping 😂. Maybe I'm not the world's best beekeep, but they are still alive and at least produce enough honey to feed themselves every winter. The rest of the honey that they put in the super (which was not much and mostly uncapped) will remain there for next summer, to entice them to pack the entire box full. We'll see if they decide to give some to me next year. 🐝
