I've tried to personally contact everyone i knew at the meeting last night to give our sincere thank you. There are a few folks I dont know. So to you..thank you for taking the time from your day to be there for us. Means a great deal to have such support in an otherwise nasty situation.

So late yesterday, the day of the meeting that has been scheduled for 5 weeks, we get a message that the elevator at town hall is out "indefinitely".
Ok, so I just had total knee replacement 3 weeks ago and you're asking me to climb 3 flights. OK. I will have to sit for the 3 hours you kept us there, thank you very much.

But what about the others that showed up to the meeting and left because they couldn't climb the stairs? I'm sorry you were unable to attend a public hearing.

Thank you to those of you that showed up but may have experienced this.
Honestly having two fire fighters there to help, what do you expect they would do? Carry people?
