There’s something I respect deeply about old-school craftsmanship.
While my shop is in transition and I’m moving into a new space, I didn’t want this page to go quiet. So instead, I want to introduce you to someone whose work truly deserves to be seen.
My friend Larry, the talent behind Spoons -N- More, handcrafts incredible, unique wooden pieces like the ones you see here.
And here’s something I admire about him…
He doesn’t have a website.
He doesn’t have social media.
He’s not focused on building an online presence.
He just works with wood.
The kind of maker who sands until it’s right. The kind who shapes each curve by hand. The kind who builds pieces meant to be used for years — not just admired on a shelf. That’s the kind of craftsmanship my grandfather taught me to value.
If you’re local and interested in something handmade for your kitchen (or a meaningful gift), send me a message and I’ll connect you with him directly.
There is room for all of us in this craft. 🤎
And don’t worry — I’ll be back in the shop soon. Sawdust flying and beautiful Wudn Thngs in the making.
