What we have here is a plugged condensate trap in a furnace. This was the cause of a no heat call this week. The customer had the furnace serviced in December by a local heating company that offered " a really affordable price". Unfortunately it was a waste of money because this is very easily cleaned and should be done. You get what ya pay for. It's not too late to have your furnace serviced so call for an appointment!

Just an example why preventive maintenance is so important. This is a drain trap from a high efficiency furnace. The debris coming out will definitely cause a no heating issue if not cleaned out yearly. Easier and much cheaper to setup an appointment now before you're feeling the cold in the house, call today!

Another replacement is in the books. We have been working for this client since 1983 and they have never called anyone else and we love having relationships with customers that exceed 40 years! Not many contractors can say that. A big improvement on efficiency and they're ready for another 20 years with this system!

This is a project that we just finished. It started with a call for carbon monoxide leaking from the boiler. After 41 years of service it had failed. The water heater was installed in a manner that wouldn't allow for a replacement in the current configuration. We installed a properly sized boiler, moved it and then a new water heater. The water heater was setup to allow for adequate service access in the future.

I'm often asked how necessary a preventive maintenance service is on a furnace. Sure the manufacturer suggests annually. Contrary to popular beliefs, if done properly it's not just a money grab. Today on the first appointment I found what would have caused a no heat for sure. A lovely little bug in the drain tap. It was easy today and caused no inconvenience. Don't bite on the $89.00 service many contractors advertise, I've seen their version of a service and it's only a disservice. Call and schedule a preventive maintenance on your furnace!
