2️⃣ YES, but we’ve got kids and it gets messy and that’s the way it is. But that system is there and clean up time (with help) is minimized.

Those getaway experiences when everything magically aligns.

Such an incredible weekend with the teachings of + , along with and so many other beautiful people 🌈

Reminding to pause. And then pause some more. Eating fresh food, nightly sound baths, feeling the sun, being out in nature and learning so many new things.

I’ve reset since I’m back, mindful of the present. I’ll be continuing to work on this 🙏🏼

2016 was the year I became a mom. A magical year that would change my life forever. I had one foot in the New York corporate world, and one foot out.

Once William was born, financially it made sense to stay at home with him. I was born to design, plan, organize. Taking care of a new baby was something very different than that - and I had so much to learn.

Present, not present, in-love, exhausted, confused and awestruck all at the same time. And my gratitude, that was immense.

One thing we see quite regularly is the overabundance of possessions. What if we could disperse that a bit?

Over the last few months we held a donation drive to allow neighbors and friends to drop off new toiletries and feminine product. We also collected new and gently used backpacks.

We donated 50 brand new back packs, along with the collected donations, to the beautiful organization . If you don’t know about their mission check them out. No child in foster care should have to use a trash bag to transport their possessions.

We also donated bags ot items that will be delivered to a small school in Kono, Sierra Leone. This diamond rich area was negatively impacted by the Civil War in the 90s.

Felt good to wrap up the year with this special project. Thanks to all who contributed to this!

One thing we see quite regularly is the overabundance of possessions. What if we could disperse that a bit?

We may be entering the season for self care, but around here I enjoy making that a priority @ home whenever possible.

Sharing 8️⃣ things (big and small) that add comfort, happiness and easy.clean.organized vibes to my world:

1. A vertical towel warmer! A luxury yes, but worth every penny. Standard horizontal bars really don’t cut it in my book. vertical all the way 🧖🏻‍♀️

2. This stool came in 3 parts. With no tools and 2 mins to construct, I have the perfect spot to take a quick seat🪑

3. Can never have enough attractive hooks. Ever. 🪝

4. Obsessed with this pill case - especially when traveling or heading out for the day. You can guess where I got it. So perfect for supplements 💊

5. One of my fav corners of my home is because of abstract artist This 12”x12” piece brings me so much joy ✨

6. This little dehumidifier is perfect for a closet💧

7. Have had this for years and intend to keep it for many many more 🌱

8. Last but not least baking soda. I leave these fridge & freezer boxes throughout interiors of closets. They absorb moisture and odors. I can’t get enough of baking soda and all its uses 👏🏻

It’s and we want to do our part 🤍

We have been collecting new items for and gently used items for school children in Sierra Leone. If you have something to contribute send a message and we’ll add it to the pot.

We just purchased 50 brand new backpacks 🎒 🎒
Excited to deliver those, and all the other comfort items within the next week 🙌🏼

Backpacks are used to move from one place to the next. No child should have to use a garbage bag for that purpose.

Comfort Cases has a beautiful mission of bringing hope and dignity to youth in foster care and we wanted to support them this season.

We are so incredibly grateful for all the things 🙏🏼
