Perhaps my favorite floral combination of the year are these old-fashioned Sarah Bernhardt peonies, lady’s mantle, and mock orange.

We have flowers today, I’m doing the last restock on our spring seedlings, and there’s a FREE table!

☀️☀️Two sunny weekend days in a row?!? I just stocked out fresh peony bouquets. Yesterday, I restocked clary sage (pink and blue) and nasturtium, we still have profusion zinnias (short & shrubby) and tall zinnias for cutting or the back of the border . All veggies are buy-one-get one or half price! ☀️☀️

First peonies of the season! All veggies are 1/2-price!

I have a whole tray of cilantro and a bunch of dill that’s starting to bolt. Both are great for black swallowtail caterpillars. They are free. 🙂

Wow, the weather is terrible! There are a lot of posts online about what we should be doing for our outdoor plants. For my seedlings? I’m not doing anything. They are well hardened off and while temperatures are not ideal, it’s not going to freeze and I’m not concerned. Will they love it? No. Will they be forever stunted? No.

That said, last week I bought a bunch of beautiful juicy plants at that amazing greenhouse in Rollingsford. They should be protected! As should your homegrown seedlings if they just recently came outside.

Carpe diem, gardeners! It's a little cool and grey, but it's is a great day to plant the garden and let Mother Nature water her in tomorrow. Some updates - I moved out cutting zinnias including Aurora, Linen, Queeny Mix, and Benery's Carmine Rose. Also Waltham butternut squash and Carnival acorn squash, green and white cukes, and pumpkins. There is a Jack O'Lantern, a white pumpkin called 'Casper', and a couple varieties of pie pumpkins.

213 N Haverhill Rd. Kensington near the Exeter town line. We get a little "busy" at times, thank you for being careful and courteous. Park in the driveway, if you can!

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us! We are fully stocked with tomatoes and peppers, including some new varieties. This week I moved out Early Girl, Amish Paste, Pineapple, and Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye. We still have lots of Juliet, Speckled Roman, Cherokee Purple, Gardeners Delight. Quantities are getting low on Sun Gold, Jet Star, and San Marzano!

For peppers, I added a Lunchbox snacking pepper and King of the North. Other varieties: Jimmy Nardello, Early Jalapeño, California Wonder, Orange Habanero, Greek pepperoncini, Shish*to.

We have ‘Purple Blush’ tomatillos, annual herbs including cilantro and basil for your salsas and sauces.

The stand is stocked with blooms, large annuals, scented geraniums, elderberries and a few odds and ends. Behind the scenes, this is about the time of summer when we start potting up perennial cuttings for next spring. “Always be Planting”!
