Welcome to the team, Liz Pohl! (a little late ;)
We’re excited to introduce Liz as the newest member of the Accoutrement family, stepping into the role of Project Manager. Liz joins us after a long and storied career at Camp Waldemar in Hunt, Texas, where she built a reputation for steady leadership, exceptional organization, and getting the details right—every single time.
Liz brings a rare mix of operational excellence and a keen eye for design and detail, which is exactly what our clients expect (and what our team relies on) as we deliver high-end work across the Hill Country and beyond.
Please help us give Liz a warm welcome—we’re grateful to have her on board.

Most people never see the “setup” behind custom millwork.
Before we cut the first board on a project, there’s tool setup: measuring, calibrating, squaring fences, dialing in blades/bits, setting stops, building jigs, test cuts, and safety checks. Depending on the scope, that prep can take hours—and it’s a necessary part of doing it right.
Precision woodworking equipment isn’t cheap, and it isn’t forgiving. A well-equipped millwork shop requires serious investment: industrial saws, planers, jointers, CNC capability, dust collection, specialty tooling, and constant maintenance to keep everything accurate.
And just as important—operating it safely takes training, discipline, and experience. Proper PPE, dust control, safe workholding, correct feed rates, sharp tooling, and shop procedures aren’t “extras”… they’re how you protect people and deliver consistent quality.
Not just anyone can do millworks.

It takes years of construction experience and a well-equipped shop environment to produce clean, repeatable, professional results—especially on high-end commercial and custom residential work.
If you’re planning a project and want it built right the first time, we’d love to talk.

This sculpture table is part of an architectural series I call “119 Feathers”, created in response to the tragic loss of 119 lives in the Kerr County flood of 2025. I began the series after reading Psalm 91:4: “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

The work holds two truths together: we are children of God, and we are inseparable from the natural world He created. We often forget that being the apex species does not place us above nature—its beauty or its wrath. We live within it, and we are subject to it. However much we try to outrun the consequences of that reality, we cannot escape cause and effect. We must not forget causality.
