How Hail Can Damage Your
AIR CONDITIONER.

—Cosmetic damage to your A/C can be unattractive, but little pings and dents in the outer cover should not damage your units cooling ability.

—Large hailstones can break through the outer shell of your A/C and cause damage to its internal coils, resulting in leak and breakdowns.

—If sizable hailstones collides with the electrical lines between your units and thermostat, your A/C could become unresponsive.

—Your A/C’s fan blades are sensitive, and even minor collisions can cause wobbly blades. Major collisions can cause bends or breaks.
