So you know the importance of sealing your stone,... well, water deposits like this can be avoided. Should damage like this be occurring on counters shower stalls or floors.. I specialize in restoring stone back to as close to original or sometimes better.

Good way to keep mildew and other biological stuff at bay on your stone and/or stone tile is to fill a spray bottle with full strength hydrogen-peroxide. Spray freely... it will not hurt your stone.. but it will disinfect quite nicely.

So you know... my specialty, besides playing music, is protecting and restoring all kinds of stone, Concrete counters and glass. Will have to admit, after I am done, counters, walls and floors usually look better than new. Feel free to ask me any questions about how to clean and care for your stone.
