Our first terrarium workshop was a success! Nursery Manager Rob explained the history and science of terrariums and led us through the steps to make our own. Employees brought in their own vessels to create unique enclosed landscapes and they turned it AMAZING!

What a fun team activity! 🌱

Did you know we regularly ship plants to the island of Lana’i? We contract grow plants in bulk and send them off to their new home, but the threat of CRB in Maui County has made shipping plant material difficult.

We can no longer ship potted plants to Maui County because the soil poses the risk of being CRB breeding material. Our solution? Bare-root the plants, wrap them in paper and foil, and box them up to ship them out! It’s a lot of work for our team, but we’re happy to get these plants where they need to be! 🌱

Seascapes Nursery will be OPEN tomorrow, Tuesday 9/15. The nursery still needs a lot of work, so please excuse our mess while our team continues to clean up.

Lowell hit the North Shore hard, but just like plants, we can be resilient and come back stronger. Kilauea is still without power, so please be patient as we get our operations going with the limited resources we have.

Please kokua as you’re driving through the North Shore and expect delays from utility work and tree removal. We’ll be here to help everyone get replanting and regrowing. 🌱
