GE Evening everyone

So today we did different kind of woodworking. We hooked up the MechMaxx stump grinder and ground down several stumps. Was the day perfect NOPE. After first stump PTO drive slipped off and that was a little scary but we concord the day and got it going again and took care of about 10 or 12 of the annoying sucker's. Have a great weekend everyone.

Happy Saturday to all! We'll today I wanted to share something to show that not everyday is a great day in the shop. I thought I had these two cutting boards just about ready to put up for sale. After taking a couple days out of the shop to look after my wife after her cataract surgery came back to see these two boards decided to blow apart. To say the least I was a little pi**ed off I chucked them in the can said a few choice words slammed the door and did not go back until today. I have put my big boy panties back on and starting on some new projects more to come later. Hope you all have a great weekend happy toothpicks making. 😄

GM All From The SawDustGarage Happy First Monday of 2026.
Spent the last couple weeks working in the shop as much as I could. During that time we had one project fail trying a damaged table from WayFair into a side table. The pressed wood would not hold up to the changes. But we got a cutting board done for the wife for Christmas it was a little late. And have mostly completed another wavey flag. Getting close to completing the table leaf for customer. This one is slow process trying to match up to an antique table. And because of the wifes cutting board got an order for another endgrain board. How many boards do you think we can make from the pile of wood in the picture.

Well, here we are at the end of another October weekend. I hope it was a good weekend for all. Spent some time in the shop, trying to get closer to the finish line on the pumpkin request. we are at the point where I get to start painting. Because it is getting colder and I have no ceiling in the shop kinda hard to warm it up. I have moved to the basement for finishing up.

Happy Saturday from the Sawdustgarage. I hope everyone is having a great day. No shop time today. we spent the day finishing up on painting and putting wire up on the fence to keep our three pups in. They like to chase the deer and whatever critters happen to be on the other side of the fence. To keep the wire on the fence, I used galvanized crown staples, and my RYOBI 18 gauge stapler actually used 16 gauge staples. I was super impressed with this RYOBI staple gun. we had no jams at all, even when I got trigger happy and double taped a couple of times. Also was impressed with the staples. I did a test on sme scrap wood with a piece of the wire, and I could not pull out those staples to save my life.
