The problem- A very large window with full sun exposure, new neighbors, and young children. The solution- a motorized Roman shade in fabric that compliments the room. It filters the light, blocks the neighbors view and little hands won’t get tangled in cords. (All of our shades are child cord safety compliant). Plus, it looks beautiful!

Large windows and bare walls make a room feel empty. We warmed the room with two width stationary panels. We installed 18” past the window on each side in order to keep the outside view and make the window even more grand. Having a ball in the workroom! The work order called for one 8” and one 10” ball pillow. Altering the pattern from 8” to 10” was not as easy as it sounds, but with a little trial and error with scrap fabric the new pattern worked.

Spills happen! But these faux leather cushions in a rich brown will be easy to care for. We decided to forgo cording (I call it a crumb catcher) to make cleanup even easier. Mealtimes will be family friendly and comfortable. This is just stage one. A back cushion and a motorized Roman shade will complete the look.
