🎅🚁 HOLIDAY FLIGHT ALERT – OSCEOLA COUNTY 🚁🎅

Just minutes ago, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit (STAR) spotted an unidentified sleigh traveling at a very high rate of speed over Osceola County.

The sleigh appeared to be pulled by multiple reindeer, with Santa Claus himself at the controls. We’re happy to report Santa was properly buckled in, flying responsibly, and following all applicable airspace regulations. ✔️🦌

Our deputies will be on patrol throughout the night to help keep Santa—and the residents of Osceola County—safe as he continues his holiday journey.

In Florida, the natural sandy and soft base material is not strong enough to support heavy traffic or withstand the state’s frequent rainstorms. A powdery base allows water to wash through easily, causing the asphalt above to shift, crack, or fail prematurely. Replacing it with a sturdy, compacted base such as crushed limestone creates a solid foundation that resists erosion, improves drainage, and provides the necessary strength to support the pavement. This ensures longer-lasting, more durable asphalt surfaces that can handle Florida’s climate and traffic demands.
