Last 18 hrs, 73 degrees with thunderstorm ( .65” ) rain ⛈️

Then 31 degrees with 4.2” snow❄️
That’s just March being March ‼️

❄️ 2.3” snow ❄️🌲

It’s not the amount with this snow, this small event put us in 3rd spot since 1886 for snow days since October 1st with 33 days‼️
Behind 1978 & 1996. So if it seems we have a lot more snow days than usual this winter, we have historically ❄️🌲

🎉50TH ANNIVERSARY YR🎉

This winter has rolled into the Top 4 all time (snow& temps) at this point with a ways to go‼️

The snow depth is at its max thus far with a February thawl starting next week‼️
As you will see in some of the pics the youngest FRASER FIR trees that are half to three quarters covered which is good for them because the snow has insulated their roots from this very and long lasting cold with 14 single digits and 6 below zero nights so far ‼️
But we will see what happens after the February thawl leading up to our spring planting scheduled to start March 25th 🌲‼️
