Bill is out on service calls Monday through Thursday, and Fridays are reserved for key cutting and key programming by appointment only.

Well, good afternoon, everyone! This is Nicky Foster coming at you with Klamath Basin Lock & Security with your Locksmith Tip of the Day! 🔑🔐

I want to give you our pricing up front so there are no surprises when you call us for service.

When we come to you for a service call, our service call fee is $80, plus labor, time, parts, and any additional services needed.

For example, if you have a broken key in your door and need us to come out to you, there will be an $80 service call fee, plus the labor involved in removing the broken key and repairing or servicing the lock.

If you’re not sure what your particular situation may cost, give us a call and we can discuss it with you and provide an estimate when possible.

We are a local locksmith serving Klamath Falls and the surrounding Klamath Basin. We do not have a storefront, but we do have a shop at our home. Everything is by appointment only.

Bill is out on service calls Monday through Thursday, and we do our key cutting and automotive programming on Fridays by appointment only.

If you contact us and need us to go through a national service provider, we simply will not do that. We are a small, local locksmith business right here in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and we believe in keeping things local and keeping things simple.

We are a one-locksmith operation, we are currently booked out at least two weeks in advance. So if you know you’re going to need locksmith services, I highly recommend giving us a call and getting on the schedule ahead of time.

And if you decide you need to go to Bend or Medford to have your locksmith work done, that’s okay too! There is enough work to go around, and we support our fellow businesses. We believe in supporting local small businesses, whether they’re here in Klamath Falls or somewhere else.

🔑 LOCKSMITH TIP OF THE DAY! 🔑

Well, good afternoon, everyone! This is Nicky Foster coming at you with Klamath Basin Lock and Security with your locksmith tip of the day!

🚨 COMMUNITY, PLEASE BE AWARE! 🚨

When you’re searching for a locksmith, DO YOUR RESEARCH! Make sure the locksmith you choose is licensed, bonded, and insured, and verify that they have a valid CCB number.

There are a LOT of misleading locksmith websites and services out there. You’ll see names like “KeyMe,” “Locksmith KeyMe,” and kiosk services located inside places like Fred Meyer, Home Depot, and Walmart. These are self-service key kiosks—not local locksmiths.

I’ll include some examples in the pictures so you know what to look for.

⚠️ Please be careful when searching online for a locksmith! There are scammers out there who may ask for your credit card information over the phone and demand payment before any services are rendered. That should be a major red flag.

At Klamath Basin Lock and Security, we are a local, legitimate locksmith business serving our community. We want our customers to know exactly who they are calling and who is coming to their home, business, or vehicle.
