I worked for my father and grandfathers, who were home builders. I studied furniture design at Arrowmont School, studied sculpture with Phil Livingston at the University of Tennessee, apprenticed at Wood Art Co., held carpentry and construction jobs and then decided to open my own company, Woodstream Hardwoods in 1975. I’ve won Best of Show at the “Naples Outdoor Art Show” and the “Roanoke Fine Cr

aft Show.” I’ve done interior jobs for: a US Navy Submarine, Merrill Lynch in New York, NY, Sassy Anns in Knoxville, TN, Elkmont Exchange in Knoxville, TN, First TN Bank in Knoxville, TN, and many East TN restaurants…too many to list!

The solid WALNUT BASE and breadboard ends are moving along. Everything is in the rough now.
We studied the layout of legs ,skirt,etc. to maximize seating capacity and for base to hold up the
ZEBRAWOOD TOP WEIGHING 420 pounds !!!!
