Hand-stitching is a labor of love, and the difference between a window treatment that looks "done" and one that looks truly refined. There is a certain rhythm to the slow task of hand-tacking pleats. While it takes significantly longer than machine stitching, it allows for a level of precision and a soft, couture finish that you just can’t achieve any other way. That needle and thread work ensures the pleats hold their shape perfectly for years to come.

In this project, the goal was seamless consistency. I installed a one-way draw pinch pleated drapery and paired it with matching valances. By mounting the valances at the exact same height as the drapery rod, the eye travels effortlessly around the room, creating a balanced, cohesive flow that makes the entire space feel more expansive.
It’s these small, artisan details—the ones you have to slow down for—that create a final product worth the wait.

It’s true what they say—artisan details really do make all the difference.

Every element of these custom panels was crafted with precision. Hand-stitched trim and meticulously finished hems ensure a flawless, tailored hang. Behind the scenes, high-quality napped lining works hard to protect the face fabric from sun damage while increasing light filtration and adding a luxurious, full-bodied volume to every fold.

A beautiful treatment also requires a strong foundation. These panels are styled on custom French return rods, securely mounted directly into the wall studs to guarantee maximum durability and a seamless, high-end finish.

Softening up the city! I absolutely loved working on this beautiful modern condo right here in Downtown Knoxville.

Industrial and modern spaces are stunning, but sometimes they need a touch of softness. For this project, we used natural elements and a gorgeous linen-blend fabric to bring warmth to the sleek lines of the home.

The highlight? A stunning ceiling-to-floor recessed ripplefold drapery that covers a brick wall in the bedroom, instantly making the room feel incredibly cozy and luxurious. I also fabricated a coordinating custom shower curtain to tie the whole aesthetic together. Everything was built with artisan-level care, right down to the invisible hand-stitched hems, and finished with a flawless installation.

It’s all in the details!
Check out the stunning fabric on this recent custom window project.
We replaced standard store-bought panels with these tailored faux shade top treatments. The fabric is a gorgeous ivory and deep brown toile, perfectly patterned with hunting dogs, horses, rabbits, and deer. It complements the cozy elegance of this room flawlessly!

Notice how bringing the treatments up to the top of the windows lets in a ton of natural light and makes the ceilings feel taller? It completely finished the look of the room while making it feel so much more spacious.

Not every bathtub needs to be the star of the show. ✨

In this narrow bathroom, a rarely used clawfoot tub is now beautifully tucked away with custom floor-to-ceiling drapery on discreet ceiling-mounted tracks. The result? Instant privacy, a softer and more intimate feel, and a space that actually looks larger because the eye is drawn upward.

We chose an abstract print that introduces fresh color into the room while still blending seamlessly with the existing finishes and decor. Functional. Artistic. Intentional.
