Pulled all of this out of a listed home this week…
Plug-ins, sprays, charcoal, mothballs — all trying to cover up a cat odor issue.
Here’s the reality:
Masking doesn’t work. Buyers notice it immediately, even if they don’t say a word. And it absolutely impacts how a home shows and how quickly it sells.
If the odor is still in the materials (floors, subfloor, drywall, HVAC), no amount of this will fix it.
That’s where I come in.
At Ascent Odor Remediation & Sanitization, I eliminate pet odors at the source using a full-home chlorine dioxide treatment that pe*****tes the entire structure — not just the air. No masking, no residue, no guessing.
• Whole-home treatment (including HVAC/ductwork)
• Permanent odor elimination — not temporary cover-ups
• 24-hour process
• Pay-at-closing available for most sellers
If you have a listing that isn’t getting the traction it should, and you suspect odor might be playing a role, I’m happy to take a look and give you honest feedback.
Sometimes this is the difference between a home sitting… and a home selling.
