GOOD MORNING WALK @ 7am of what used to be the parking lot of the garden center. A beautiful image of a place I have loved for over 40 years.

In two days I hand it over to someone else. May they prosper in their vision for this farm, just like we did starting in 1983.

THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL ACT OF LOVE happening on the farm, and if you believe that everything is energy like I do, you will see it too.

Jimmy loved being a nurseryman, a true tree hugger. His favorite tree was the mighty oak. He planted 5 oak trees in different spots in the garden center that have been here for 25 to 35 years.

This Spring, something was different. They didn't leaf out all the way and it was noticeable to those of us who knew. I have been watching them for months...and even with all this rain this year, they are dying.

The beauty of it, to me, is that Jimmy is pulling his energy away from the farm he loved more than anything and allowing it to go. He is letting us know that it's time and he is moving on.

For me, it's confirmation that retiring last October was the right thing to do for everyone. The tree sale this Spring, the auction and the cleanup of the land is the path.....the path of honoring a life well lived.

So on we go, and in a month, we will be done. The final goodbye. The promise of new beginnings.

IT'S REALLY REAL NOW....only foot prints remain where the hoop houses stood. Remember they were always covered in white plastic for winter and you knew it was Spring when we uncovered them?

Yeah, me too. At one time there was over 30 of them. These last few years after Jimmy died, only 14.

Tomorrow is day 1 of 2 days for the preview of the auction, where you can come see what is for sale. 9 to 4 Friday and 9 to 1 Saturday.

Thanks for all the support in this final stage of letting the farm go.

It's been quite the journey. 🌳🌳🌳🌳
