Behr Construction has been a licensed General Contractor for over 40 years
in La Canada specializing in residential construction. Our team of project
managers oversee and manage each project efficiently through organization,
effective scheduling, detailed budgets and accurate cost estimation..

We are seeking an reliable, motivated and detailed Construction Estimator
to join our team. This individual will be working alongside our chief
estimator in creating estimates and securing bids from subcontractors in a
timely manner. The position requires a detail-oriented, multi-tasking
individual who can handle competing priorities. Must be able to problem
solve confidently and decisively take action.

Duties will include: Preparing cost and labor estimates for construction
projects; Understanding the scope of work for each specific project;
Contacting subcontractors for estimates; Meeting with chief estimator to
review scope of work and bids; Review bids for accuracy

Required Qualifications

* Experience:

* Residential Construction Estimating, 2 years (Required)
* Estimating, 2 years (Required)
* Construction Management a plus

Required Skills:

* Must be detail oriented, and pay attention to the highest
standards of quality, while maintaining timelines

* Must be proficient in reading plans

* Proficiency in Adobe PDF, Microsoft Office, Windows, etc.

* Master builder experience a plus

* Well-organized and reliable

* Fluent in English
