We had to do another safe opening in Lowville and it was self inflicted pain. The safe is an in the floor safe which means that the door pulls up and has a shock absorber to help open and close the door. Someone replaced the old one with a new one except they removed the relocker plate from the lock so when they closed the door they could not reopen it as the relocker tripped and completely locked the safe. The worst part is they took the plate with them. We opened the safe but we didn't have a new relocker on the vehicle so we have to get one and go back.

We had another safe past in Boonville that we were following another locksmith shop. They should not be working on safes. I am enclosing a before and after pictures. We did repair the safe because they are going to get a new one but did not know how long that would take.

Normally I would not post this here but I think that it is important that you should hear it. We have one large truck in our business which requires a DOT Number. We have the number and have the name on the truck as required by the Fmcsa which is part of the federal government. I want to warn anyone with a federal number to watch out for scammers that try to make it look like they are the government but if you get out a magnifier and read the very bottom of what ever they send you either by regular mail or email you will see who they really are. They try to get you to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars that you can do for free online. By the way scammers are in every business arena you look. Some are harder to spot than others. Just wanted to let all of you know.

It used to be fun to be in business but now Oh, my not so much. If most of you seen what we as venders have to put up with you would pull your hair out. Big companies think they have all the rules and that no one else should not agree with their rules. Well, I have rules that they need to follow to be a good customer otherwise you get put on our do not service list and once you get on the list it is almost impossible to get off the list.

As far as business work goes, man we got slammed this month and with the main truck down waiting on repairs, it just complicates matters. Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas.

Today has been a little difficult as we have been having phone issues all day. Now I have to say that we were not the only ones having problems as Verizon has a very sick computer and I informed them because they didn't know. Their computer being sick made me feel a little better knowing it is not just me.

When someone says they are going to wire you money, think twice and say no. They will hit you with fees that will make the payment less than what it should be. Now to be fair one company used ACH and there were no fees attached but the second company did not use ACH (even though they said they were) to send the money but we got hit with a fee so the bill is not paid for in full.
