Stolen property valued at over $50,000 and lethal narcotics were recovered on December 21, 2022.

Sheriff Barton commends the hard work of the Criminal Investigation Division for executing a search warrant at 292 Willard Road, LaFollette which lead to the arrest of Ceasar and Brianna Mae Solano.

Stolen property valued at over $50,000 was confiscated. A Polaris RZR valued at $30,000 and another Polaris RZR valued at $20,000 were seized from the residence. Additional items suspected of being stolen have been secured.

Three minor children were present in the home and had access to loaded fi****ms and a large amount of lethal narcotics.

Ceasar Solano and Brianna Mae Solano were placed under arrest and transported to the Campbell County jail.

This is an ongoing investigation.
Additional charges and arrests are expected to be made.

Reminder to all families. The City of LaFollette will be hosting Seargeant's Park in the Dark this Friday, October 28th 6-8 P.M. We will have over 30 vendors giving out candy. The weather looks to be great. So, please bring your kids out for a safe Trick-or-Treat experience. Plus, we will have food trucks there for an added bonus. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Sheriff Barton will conduct a Crime Watch meeting on Thursday, November 3rd at Cherry Bottom Baptist Church in Caryville beginning at 6:00 pm. This meeting will be held for communities surrounding the church.

The Crime Watch program will provide an opportunity for open communication between the public and the Campbell County Sheriff's Office.

Everyone is invited to attend this meeting. Additional meetings will be held throughout Campbell County.

Two search warrants (South 25W and Log Lane) were executed within approximately 12 hours. I would like to say Thank You for your dedication to making Campbell County a safer community. Many long days were spent gathering evidence to build these cases. A multitude of illicit drugs headed for our streets will now be destroyed. Your hard work before, during and after these search warrants is greatly appreciated by all of Campbell County.

My heart is beyond heavy today as I have just learned of the passing of my good friend Loretta Lynn. I saw her a few weeks ago, & we sang some songs together. She was an incredible person, an incredible human being & an incredible talent who forged the way for women in the entertainment industry. I just spent time on her ranch, visiting with her & family. Singing songs & riding around on the ATVs & dirt bikes. One of the best days of my life was Thanksgiving when she sang Every Rose Has Its Thorn in the studio with me. She will forever be loved & missed.
