Our story began in 2008 while working at a world renowned security camera company.
The security industry was slowly but surely making the switch from analog to digital. “Digital, high-definition, internet connected, smart devices” were the future of security cameras.
However, at the time IP cameras were not only difficult to install, but also tough to use. We knew there had to be a solution to this problem, therefore we began reaching out to technology specialists and scientific resources.
In late 2009 we met Pr. Jiantao Wen, who had returned from the USA, and believed there was a way to make our vision a reality.
With hard work, we found our solution.
We founded NetView Video Technologies Ltd. in mid-2010. Our company was united with the goal of innovating the smart-home market. Not just to be another company among the pack, but to lead them and to redefine their standards of hardware and software.
2010 - Pioneer On Plug-N-Play IP Camera
We started as one of world’s first home security manufacturers to develop Plug-n-Play IP camera
In March 2011, while attending ISC West in Las Vegas, we unveiled to the world the prototype Netvue Camera. This debut was a critical success for us, as we were one of only a handful of companies in the world making user-friendly IP cameras
2011 - Red Herring 100 Winner Asia Award
In Oct 2011, we were granted with 2011 Red Herring 100 Winner Asia Award!

Later that year in Dec 2011, we were granted as 2011 Red Herring 100 Winner World Award!
2011 - Software Enterprise Certificate
Obtained Software Enterprise Certificate.
Successfully developed the Netvue Cloud Platform based on AWS.
Apr 2012 - Netvue I
Revealed the 1st Gen. consumer IP camera – Netvue I.
Jul 2012 - Netvue II
Finished the development of 2nd Gen. consumer IP camera – Netvue II, with two-way audio and IR night vision.
Dec 2012 - Partner With Q-SEE & DOREL
Built partnership with world’s 3rd largest consumer security product distributor Q-SEE (U.S.A) and world’s largest baby product distributor DOREL (Canada).
2012 - Massive Production
Started massive production of Netvue.
2012 - Camera View On TV
Accomplished a new feature of playing views from IP cameras in smart TVs.
Apr 2013 Finished the prototype development of facial detection and analysis in cameras.
May 2013 Netvue Hong Kong was founded!
Aug 2013 - Cloud Platform Sub-Systems
Added many new sub-business systems to the cloud platform, such as monitor system, business management system, backend operation and maintenance system
Aug 2013 - Partner With TECVOZ
Built partnership with North America’s largest security product distributor TECVOZ.
Oct 2013 - 2nd Gen. Cloud Platform
Finished 2nd Gen. Cloud Platform, adopted more open protocols and structures with higher stability and efficiency.
Nov 2013 - IoT Product Line Expansion
Completed the development of a series of IoT smart home products, like air monitor, smart socket, home weather station etc.
Mar 2014 Finished the development of Netvue III, a consumer IP camera with new design.
Partner With Awox Partnered with Europe’s well-known smart home company Awox and developed world’s first pan/tilt camera with lighting features.
Dec 2014 - 3nd Gen. Cloud Platform
Completed the upgrade of Netvue Cloud Platform to its 3rd Gen.
