We are just a few short days away from the 4th of July!

The Friends of the 4th of July Committee wants to make sure you are aware of all the day’s events!

The skate park 🛹 will be open from 7am-4pm, and free swim 🏊‍♂️ at Las Flores Aquatic Center from 12-4pm!

This year we are thrilled to have Mr. Gil Ivey as the parade’s Grand Marshal!

Pre-sale tickets to the fireworks show are still available for purchase:

🎟️ Tickets available from now through July 3
🎟️ Purchase Thursday 6/29 & Monday 7/3, 8AM-6PM at City Hall (Community Services Department or the Cashier)

Ticket prices:
🎟️ General Admisson, $12 (ages 4 and under free)
🎟️ Pre-sale discount of $2 per ticket if bought before July 4th

SAME DAY TICKETS:

🎟️Tickets will be available on July 4th from 9am-11am in the lobby of the Public Safety Building and at the stadium beginning at 5PM.

💵CASH ONLY💵

🎟️$1 from each ticket will be donated to the La Verne Veterans Memorial.

If your HOA or hotel pool is closed or your pool man is raising your rates or you can't get parts for your pool here is what's is going on in the industry nation wide.

1. Nations biggest tablet manufacturing plant burned down
2. Texas had record freeze that ruined millions of dollars of pool pipe and equipment.
3. West coast chlorine manufacturer transformer blew for 10 days and did not send So. Cal rail cars of chorine for 2 weeks.
4. Labor shortage. (people sucking off government money and refusing to get to work)

A fire last August in south Louisiana during Hurricane Laura is being blamed in part for creating what is being described as the worst chlorine shortage the country has ever seen—much to the dismay of swimming pool owners, The Washington Post reports.
