It sucks when you have to send the guys out on the weekend. I always feel bad calling them, even when it’s part of the job. But Dustin and Shawn went out today and rocked out 3 emergency calls while Jason worked on finishing up some maintenance on the red rig. Getting 5 stars on the weekend calls makes it a lot better though!

With these high water concerns that are upon us right now we are getting lots of calls for well heads being close to if not under water. Do not stress! At this moment there is not a lot we can do. Please refrain from using your water, shut the pump off and wait. Once everything drys up, please call us and we can come out, blow the well off, and chlorinate the well to protect from contamination. Thank You!

Did you know we sell Ritchie Waterers? We have been avid Nelson users for years! Our oldest one is probably (I’m aging myself!) 20 years old. And while they are excellent, we bought a Ritchie 3 years ago for our goat pens so that with the dual founts, we could easily split it in between 2 pens. We are installing a second OmniFount to our front horse pens as they share a fence line and it will make it so much easier with fencing! These clean easily and we have not had a freeze up yet! The other bonus we have found is the water straw is larger, so the lovely northern Michigan mineral doesn’t build up and plug that line when we are using them.

Don’t worry, I won’t be getting rid of the Nelson we are taking out… in fact it’s just being repurposed to my chicken coop pen! 😂😂 Jason is not super excited about that project, though he is excited about the chicken watered not being brought in the garage to thaw!

Hey everyone!! I don’t post here that much anymore, just been busy with life! But I wanted to bring up something that has been in my heart a bit this week.

We have been on vacation with the kids. As many of you know, those days get shorter and shorter as they get older. We are in the phase of sucking every ounce of time we can get from them out of them as they are getting older because we might not be as cool as we think we are. 😂 Imagine that.

While we have been on vacation, we have been called and messaged on our cell phones or texted numerous times about well issues or service calls. Once while I was driving 65 mph down 95 in 6 lanes of traffic and my phone just wouldn’t stop alerting me. 🤦🏽‍♀️ dang technology. I will admit. I have been short with a few people in that time. (Sorry Travis!)

But here’s the thing. I have amazing employees. Courtney will answer the phone or return calls really quickly depending on the level of emergency. (No waters get calls back quickly. Want to pay you bill? She might call you even faster. Well estimate? It can wait until normal business hours.) Bryce, Dustin, Dann, Mike, and Shawn are rocking service and drilling while we are gone this week.

What I am saying is please please please, call the office first. 989-379-3266. They can actually answer questions faster than me since I don’t have my computer with me, I don’t have my files with me, and honestly, we really want every 5 minutes we can with our kids whenever we can.

We take everything to heart. This business is our life after our family. If you have concerns that are not getting answered through the office, feel free to reach out to us directly, because we really do care that you are getting the best service we can provide.
